近藤あかね 個展 / Akane Kondo’s Solo Exhibition

桃青京都ギャラリーでは、2022年7月15日(金）から2022年7月30日(土)まで「近藤あかね展」を開催致します。
呉須による絵付磁器で、山水画の世界を追求してきた近藤。近年は鉄の化合物の感光性と太陽の紫外線を利用した写真プリント技法 − サイアノタイプ − を使って山水世界の表現に取り組んでいます。
今回は、最新の作品の中から、古典的な山水画をモチーフにした作品と現代日本の姿を収めた写真に山水をコラージュした作品を併せて展示いたします。
青色の濃淡が特徴のサイアノタイプの作品を通じて、過去から現代を自由に行き来しながら、風景とそこに暮らす人々の生活に想いを馳せる穏やかなひと時をお愉しみください。
※メイン会場は奥のギャラリーAとなります。
Kondo has been pursuing the world of landscape painting on painted porcelain made of gosu. (Blue pigment used in porcelain such as tinted porcelain since ancient times) In recent years, she has been working on the expression of the landscape world using a photographic printing technique - cyanotype - that utilizes the photosensitivity of iron compounds and the ultraviolet rays of the sun.
In this exhibition, we will present a selection of his latest works, including a classic landscape painting motif and a collage of landscapes with photographs of contemporary Japan.
