この度、桃青京都ギャラリーにて、中田篤さんの個展を開催いたします。
日常的な「器」というフォーマットを入り口にして、日記の一行を書くように制作する中田篤さん。釉薬に漆を使い、現代的なデザインの作品を作り出します。漆を焼き付けて得られる微かな光沢と新鮮な色調、移り変わる嗜好や思考が器に生まれ変わる唯一無二の世界観が魅力的です。

We are pleased to announce the solo exhibition of Atsushi Nakata at Tosei Kyoto Gallery.
Atsushi Nakata creates his works as if he were writing a line in a diary, using the everyday "vessel" format as an entry point. Using lacquer as a glaze, he creates pieces with a contemporary design. The subtle luster and fresh color tones obtained by baking lacquer and the one-of-a-kind worldview of shifting tastes and thoughts transformed into vessels are fascinating.
